We are pleased to announce a new program at the Health Department focusing on access to care for diabetics.  We have developed a one page resource guide of services available in our county, listed by agency and the particular service available in each agency.  The guide also has addresses and phone numbers for each agency, and a list of some helpful websites.  Feel free to call and/or stop by the Health Department for a copy of the resource guide.

FREE Diabetes Education Class 

The Douglas County Health Department will be conducting a FREE Diabetes Education Class. Classes will be held at the MOCH Wellness Center, May 31, 2012 at 5:15pm. Dr. Doug Jordan OD will be speaking on how diabetes affects eye health. For more information and to RSVP call (417)683-4174.
